Comparing to The internet speed in Malaysia and Australia i can clearly say that Malaysia Internet speed is equals to a turtle/ tortoise.
I take my 5 minutes just to view a 3 min video. Some part of me just think that why would you wait 5 min just to watch a 3 min video. no sense. This show how slow the internet speed is. I have even made comparison with some of my friend that are using Streamyx under RM88 per month which speed goes up to 1.0Mbps .
Me however i am using 512kbps but both still goes a a turtle speed. i seriously dun understand how we can both pay different rates and yet getting the same speed.
The truth is, I was told my some research that, streamyx are more interested in gaining revenues from major companies that are using enterprise speed. which they are paying around 2-5 thousand a month. of course piority are given to them. The rest of the services is given to local customer whereby we get a turtle speed .
In australia, i am sharing internet and we are paying around 80+ per month which gives us 60gb quata usage per month. Best part of this is that, we are seriously getting the speed and services that is paid for.
3 min videos is loaded in 10 sec?
Thinking about this, i seriously thinks that Malaysia or ( TM NET) need to thinks about the customer point of view than profit point of view!. We are no longer kampungs that doesn;t know what internet is nor what our MBs and KBs. Welcome to the 21 century Streamyx
